The 16th Music Express regional Chinese song writing competition (organanised by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore) registration date will be closing on 4th July 2010!!! So hurry up~ Quickly join us and grab to stand the chance to experience the joy of composing and win attractive cash prizes, and more!!!
The competition comprises 2 categories:Category A (Total cash prizes – S$2300): 词曲创作 Song Composing. Competitors who have joined this category will have to come up with an original tune and fill it up with the appropriate lyrics. The final composition may be a joint effort by more than 2 people, ie. the person who comes up with the melody can form up with a friend, who joins him as his lyricist. Category B (Total cash prizes – S$500): 歌词创作 Lyric Writing. Contestants who join us under this category need not come up with a melody of their own. Rather, they will make use of a pre-arranged melody which can be downloaded from http://www.ntumusicexpress.com/files/ME16_CatB_VoxGuide.mp3 and fill in the lyrics for the melody.
